Daraga Church, also known as Nuestra Señora de la Porteria Parish Church, was established by the Franciscans in 1772, devoting to Our Lady of the Gate. Portions of this Roman Catholic church were listed as a National Cultural Treasure of the Philippines in 2007.
Daraga Church is recognized for its exquisite facade influenced by the Churrigueresque style. The Baroque-design facade and its walls are constructed out of volcanic rocks which had developed a white coloration due to the coating of lime intended for its preservation.
