It is not easy to find a paradise within close proximity, especially when you’re in Manila. Fortunately, Tagaytay always proves to be a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the metro. One can enjoy the cool blowing breeze at the elevated land plus get amazed at the overlooking view of the Taal Lake. These are just a few things that instantly give off a relaxing atmosphere when in Tagaytay.
July 29, 2017 – It was a gloomy Saturday afternoon when I stood by the wooden gates of Raffi’s Way, wondering where my fellow bloggers were. Together with wonderful online influencers Karla Ramos, Erica Villas, Mish Rendon, Lea Rafio and Issa, we were gathered by Aldous Ate The World to join a quick getaway at Raffi’s Way. Raffi’s Way is a Mykonos-inspired villa that offers a serene vacation experience for people seeking a time off from the usual routine. It has an Earth Stone Wood theme which provides a calming and soothing sight to its visitors. A play with shapes also makes the structure more refreshing to look at.
Not long after my arrival was theirs. As we all went inside the guesthouse, we were astonished by the adornments carefully selected to compliment the theme of the house. The place was absolutely stunning. It had a minimalist interior design to it – airy, natural and cozy. In most corners were plants and wooden elements in different shades of green and brown hues that made a beautiful contrast to the clean white walls. It immediately became home, because it looked very welcoming. It was no doubt that every part of the house is an instagrammable backdrop! Everything was in perfect harmony.
One would immediately notice the breathtaking living area. The stone flooring, wooden pieces and the picturesque landscape of the lush garden make this area special. Among the carefully designed aesthetics in the house, the vertical glass windows that allow a spectacular view of the outdoors was, for me, the main attraction.
The guesthouse consists of 4 bedrooms in different sizes and unique features. Each room has a television set and a private bathroom. Perfect for family bonding and friends’ hangout, this house can comfortably fit huge groups, even more than 20 people.
The amenities include a swimming pool, a garden, a designer kitchen, a balcony, a sauna and an ample parking space.
What’s good about its location is that it is nearby the notable restaurants and malls in Tagaytay area. Although it was merely 5 minutes away from Olivarez Rotonda, it seemed as if we were in a very remote paradise. Indeed, a dreamy guesthouse is within reach!
