After taking you to a virtual tour of the restaurant, let’s take a closer look at the food. The Lucky Chick Salad‘s serving can be shared by 2-3 persons. The leafy green vegetables topped with chopped fried chicken breast, pork bits, onions and cherry tomatoes.
The Gravy Fries is a dish made up of French fries and creamy cheese in light brown gravy sauce with bits of ground meat.
Stuffed with a mixture of cheese and spices, the Jalapeno Poppers is seriously one spicy appetizer to get your taste buds working.
The Pulled Pork is slowly cooked at low temperatures to achieve moist tender pork meat. Because of the extra moisture, the meat easily gets broken into pieces in every bite. The smoke-flavored pork sandwich is complimented with a barbecue sauce for added intensity.
For the sides, there is an option of Garlic Rice, Plain Rice, Coleslaw, Corn Muffin, French Fries, Mashed Potatoes, Biscuits and Gravy, Donut, Mac and Cheese, Green Salad. All of the sides are phenomenal, but if you’re confused on which one to try first, I suggest the Corn Muffin! It’s a must-eat!
There are three varieties of Lucky Chick’s fried chicken, ranging from Original Chicken, Hot Chick to Lemon and Garlic. Since I’m a fan of spicy chicken, I ordered the Hot Chick deep chicken flavor, a flab-free skin, juicy, tender meat, and crisp, spicy coating.
Chef Francis Asuncion’s creation of the soft savory taste was derived from the strongly flavored buttermilk brine that tenderizes Lucky Chick’s chicken while keeping it crispy on the surface and evenly cooked on the inside.
A slice of Pecan Pie brings us to the Southern United States. The crunchy bittersweet nuts is a great partner to the soft chewy pecan filling.
The Ice Cream Sandwich is basically a Vanilla ice cream in between two chunky chocolate chip cookies to take you back to the happy days from your childhood.
For delectable food and a smooth dining experience, Lucky Chick is the right venue for barkada’s Friday dinner get-together!
